Oinochoe-shaped Christmas ornament.

The oinochoe (Greek: οἰνοχόη; ‘wine-pourer’) is a small jug originally used to serve wine, but later used for any liquid. Oinochoai come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are often associated with Dionysus, the god of wine.

Laser-cut gold or silver mirrored acrylic. Engraved palmette and lotus flower detail inspired by the motifs found on ancient Greek pottery.

Limited edition of 22 pieces.

Handmade in Scotland as part of Plato’s Fire’s Christmas vase collection, inspired by ancient Greek vases.
